Warranty

Below is the warranty currently issued with Celsius Glass, including details of the product guarantee.

All units in the Celsius Performance Glass range carry a 10 year guarantee against seal failure, providing that correct glazing methods are used.

All other sealed units that are manufactured by us are guaranteed for 10 years against seal failure.

We also give a 10 year guarantee on our Easy Clean coating.

This guarantee is provided on the basis that the goods have been correctly installed and maintained in accordance with our instructions.

Our units are manufactured and kite-marked to BS EN 1279-2, toughened to BS EN 12150-1, and within the visual guidelines as set by the Glass and Glazing federation. Minor flaws such as bubbles, blisters, hairlines or blobs, fine scratches less than 25mm long or very small particles which are not obvious when viewed at 90 degrees in normal daylight and from 2 meters away are not covered.

i) Excluded from this guarantee is any defect in the goods arising from willful damage, accident, negligence, faulty installation by you or any third party, or any alteration or repair carried out without our approval.

ii) Should any goods supplied by us to you develop a defect under guarantee you should notify us in writing as soon as possible.

iii) Where we replace any item under guarantee we reserve the right to arrange for the return of the original item.

iv) Where possible we should be afforded the opportunity for one of our representatives to attend the de-glazing.

The above warranty is a statement of assurance of facts governing the Celsius Guarantee, and is issued only to the initial purchaser and is not transferable. The product guarantee however remains valid for the full period throughout transfers as stated above. This warranty does not affect any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

Please note: Details above are subject to change without notice.

NB: Some Celsius Certificates of Authenticity were issued with the incorrect wording 'Warranty excludes...', this should have read 'Guarantee excludes...'. The statements above supersede those of the printed certificates.
